Founded in 2024 by Hochschule Hannover, Leibniz University Hannover, and the Laser Zentrum Hannover, op·tic Hannover is a bold campus initiative funded by MWK – Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kultur and Volkswagen Stiftung turning breakthrough science into real-world impact.
Here’s our game plan:
- Spot the tech – We hunt down the most promising optical innovations.
- Flip the process – Inventing and using groundbreaking Converse Design Thinking together, we don’t just fit tech to an existing market — we rethink entire markets to unleash the tech’s potential. This is where YOU can join.
